indy City International Film Festival is a hot new independent film fest taking place in Chicago every summer. We've got some rockin' talent in this city, with some of the best training centers for film-making and acting in the world, but our emerging artists were in need of more public screening opportunities. We decided to launch our fest to provide a home for our local filmmakers and bring the best indie films from around the world to the Chicago community. Our networking events, parties, and brunches create an enticing screening destination for industry professionals and a fun weekend for all. So whether you are a Chicagoan looking for something exciting to do, or a filmmaker looking for your next project, we hope you'll come to the Windy City International Film Festival for some mingling, movies, and mimosas!
The inaugural Windy City International Film Festival kicked off in June 2017 and welcomed an audience of 500 during the 3-day event. Over 150 filmmakers and industry guests were in attendance.
